​The Ayrshire coast is incredibly beautiful, the coastline from Ayr beach to Greenan Castle is my local view and I am incredibly fortunate to live by the beach in Ayr, Arran featuring very often in my work.
I often walk amongst the sand dunes enjoying the views from there across to Arran and beyond.
Further down the coast you have a wonderful view of Ailsa Craig, the village at Dunure with its picturesque fishing harbour and from there the drive along the coast to Culzean Castle. An endless inspiration for me and I urge you to explore it for yourself.
​Beyond Ayrshire I am inspired by the entire beauty of Scotland and I do have paintings that reflect this, in particular the Hebridean Islands of Harris and Lewis. I enjoying travelling in my own country and connecting with new places.
